About Making Democracy Happen

Making Democracy Happen is an exploration of Tuskegee/Macon County sites and people that have been involved in the history of the civil rights movement and the sacrifices made by local residents who fought for the cause of first class citizenship for African Americans.

This website is a project of the Tuskegee History Center, the Association of African American Museums, and the African American Civil Rights Network.
